Our first tip for traveling

Tips for a stress-free trip in times of social media and co.

In this day and age, it is increasingly difficult to escape the stress of everyday life. Cell phones, tablets and social media ensure that we constantly receive new input and hardly get a chance to rest. But there is a way out: a trip! Even if it’s only a short trip to the nearest campsite 20 km away, it can work wonders to escape the daily grind.

Due to Corona, it is currently advisable to limit yourself to destinations in Germany until everything has returned to normal. But that’s nothing to worry about! Germany has many beautiful places for you to explore. Here are some tips to make your trip as stress-free as possible:

  1. Plan in advance: Find out about the area you want to travel to on the Internet. Search for sights, restaurants and activities that interest you. This way, you can make the most of your time and avoid wasting valuable hours looking for something to do.

  2. Pack light: try to take as little as possible with you. The less luggage you have, the easier it will be to travel from place to place. Make sure you only pack the essentials and avoid unnecessary items.

  3. Be flexible: leave room for spontaneous decisions and changes to the itinerary. It’s important not to rely too much on a specific schedule as this can cause stress if things don’t go as planned.

  4. Take breaks: Plan regular breaks to relax and recharge your batteries. Find a nice place to relax and enjoy the view or read a book.
